About the Role
The Team Leader will assist the Residential Services Manager in delivering a high-quality client-focused service. They will have a key role in managing and planning the existing service, providing care and support to adults with acquired brain injury and mental health issues who have varying disabilities and complex health needs in a person-centered respite service.
Responsibilities
* To manage the day-to-day delivery of a truly person-centered service for all clients
* To manage and provide support to staff within the respite service, maintaining staff rotas, training, leadership, supervision, support plans, and communication across various shifts
* To liaise with families and other personnel as directed by the Centre Manager
The Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring that the required standards are met in line with HIQA regulations and reporting to HIQA is maintained.
Requirements
We are looking for a third-level graduate in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification. The ideal candidate will have experience in management and supervising both individuals and teams, as well as working within a HIQA-registered service.
