About the Programme
This is a 12-month development opportunity designed to cultivate the next generation of sales leaders and managers.
Key Areas:
1. Develop a thorough understanding of our business operations, including warehouse management, logistics, supply chain management, administration, IT software, and marketing strategies.
2. Gain hands-on experience with our vast product range and learn about different manufacturers and the electrical distribution industry.
3. Build relationships, negotiate deals, and advise customers face-to-face over the trade counter, serving electricians, contractors, and tradespeople.
4. Participate in formal sales training and network with other Graduate Trainees from across the organisation.
5. Complete workbook assessments to reinforce learning and development, with financial incentives for each one passed to a required standard.
Progression Opportunities:
1. Migrate to internal sales account management, engaging with business customers over the phone, including construction companies, local government authorities, housing developers, and hotels.
2. Leverage business development strategies to target and win new trading accounts.
