Pharmacy Technician Role
About the Job
This is a permanent role working in a leading and progressive pharmacy with branches throughout Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience working as a pharmacy technician.
* Deal with customers face to face and via phone and email, advising on medication and over-the-counter products.
* Assist the pharmacist in preparing prescriptions and receiving/organising them.
* Place orders, manage stock, and merchandise the pharmacy.
* Maintain relationships with team members, customers, and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Dealing with customers and providing advice on medication and over-the-counter products.
* Maintaining relationships with team members, customers, and healthcare professionals.
Additional Duties
The following additional duties are also required:
* Sending invoices, checking payments, collecting funds, and chasing outstanding claims.
* Managing nursing home relationships and accounts.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
* Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
* Relevant pharmacy technician qualification.
* At least 2+ years of experience working in a pharmacy as a technician.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Interest in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.
* Accounts experience and knowledge of Touchstore (advantageous).

Work Schedule
