M&E Project Manager
As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing minor and major capital works within the region. This includes tendering projects, managing contractors, designing electrical systems to support operational and strategic needs, developing commissioning and testing procedures, leading and managing electrical projects, overseeing project budgets and timelines, coordinating with design teams and stakeholders, managing procurement processes, contributing to business continuity plans and energy management programs, driving sustainability initiatives, providing technical guidance, collaborating with facilities and maintenance teams, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure electrical systems comply with legislation, standards, and statutory obligations, focusing on safety and reliability.
* Prepare designs and specifications for electrical systems to meet operational and strategic needs.
* Develop commissioning and testing procedures for new electrical infrastructure and upgrades.
* Lead and manage electrical projects from design to commissioning phases.
* Oversee project deliverables, timelines, and budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.
* Manage procurement processes for design services, professional expertise, and contractor engagement.
* Contribute to development and implementation of business continuity plans and energy management programs.
* Drive sustainability initiatives, including ISO 50001 compliance and energy consumption optimization.
* Liaise with internal teams and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Provide regular reports to senior management on electrical system performance.
* Collaborate with facilities and maintenance teams to ensure electrical systems are integrated into the CMMS.
