Bid Manager – Dublin City – Data Centers
Our client is a large European Construction Group consisting of multiple integrated group companies involved in the turnkey delivery of Data Centres throughout Europe with further expansion into the US and the Middle East planned in the short term.
They have recently opened a Dublin Office and focused several specialist departments including a commercial/estimating department focusing on projects in Mainland Europe.
They are currently seeking a Bid Manager or Senior Technical Bid Coordinator reporting directly to the Commercial Director to coordinate/manage the bid process liaising between various stakeholders including the estimating/commercial and preconstruction teams.
If you are coming from a quantity surveying/bid management/engineering or estimating background either directly or through practical experience, this could be a good opportunity in what is a very dynamic company.
Salary will be 100K+ for the right candidate with a package including pension, private health, bonus and other allowances.
Duties:
* Assist with the development and implementation of bid strategies, aligning with company objectives and client requirements.
* Coordinate and manage bid teams, ensuring clear communication and task delegation for the bid submission.
* Review and interpret tender documentation, identifying risks, opportunities, and compliance requirements.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical, commercial, and financial information to inform our submissions.
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of compelling bid presentations and proposals.
* Work closely with design, estimating, and procurement teams to develop comprehensive preconstruction plans.
* Evaluate and mitigate potential risks associated with design, planning, and project execution.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project requirements.
* Support the development of cost-effective and innovative solutions during preconstruction.
* Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Monitor and report on preconstruction progress, budgets, and timelines.
