About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrician with Commissioning abilities. This role will be based in Co. Cork.
The ideal candidate would be a qualified electrician with 5-10 years proven experience in the industrial sector. Water & wastewater sector experience is advantageous, and commissioning experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Electrical control system installation
* Electrical control systems commissioning & testing
* Electrical design and supervision work on water and wastewater pumping and treatment installations with instrumentation and controls
* Understanding of PLC-based automation & SCADA systems
* Electrical systems fault finding and rectification
* Supervision and snagging of sub-contractors' work
Key Competencies and Skills:
* A minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship work within the water or wastewater treatment industry, contracting, pumps, instrumentation, automation, and SCADA
* Good electrical control systems knowledge & fault-finding skills
* Experience working with pumps, motors, chemical dosing equipment (including pumps & controllers), and control panels
* Working knowledge of PLCs and automation
Qualifications:
* RECI [or equivalent] certified Electrician with 5 years post-apprenticeship experience
* Full EU/Irish driving license
