Job Description:
The role of Autism Officer involves supporting the Learning Support and Assessment team in planning, implementing, and reviewing individual learning support plans for autistic children and young people.
Key responsibilities include assessing needs, developing learning support plans, and coordinating assessment and support provision.
Communication and collaboration are essential skills for this role, as well as experience working with a variety of learning abilities and age ranges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A degree in education, psychology, or a health-related discipline is required. Significant post-qualification experience delivering autism-specific supports is also necessary.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
