Project Engineer Role
* The Project Engineer will lead the introduction of new equipment and processes in our manufacturing lines, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
* * Evaluate process layouts to optimize floor space utilization and ensure optimum process flow.
* Develop and implement supporting documentation, including SOPs, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process work instructions, following current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
* Transferring and implementing processes from development or other manufacturing facilities.
* Own project databases and report regularly on progress and potential issues affecting cost or schedule.
* Develop specifications for new equipment purchases and lead capital acquisition activities.
* Provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians and engineers.
* Conduct MSA studies for products and new processes.
* Lead projects as assigned, including scoping, approval, budgeting, specification, execution, qualification, and operational handover.
* Ensure Quality Management Systems compliance at all times.
* Provide out-of-hours support as required by management or mandated by shutdowns and/or equipment failures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Level 8 degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience is essential.
* Proven project engineering skills through the delivery of business-critical projects.
* Has 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong communication and influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Capable of technical leadership, influencing, and providing direction to engineers, coop students, technicians, and operators as required.
* Works effectively in a multi-disciplined team in an aggressive, dynamic, and results-oriented environment.
* Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills, a process improvement orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.

* Confident and effective decision-maker with proven leadership ability to negotiate and influence others.
