A leading Irish Agri supplier, headquartered in North Dublin, is seeking a
Senior Financial Accountant
to head up its finance team.
They are seeking a Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant to oversee a wide range of financial, operational, and administrative functions.
This pivotal role ensures the efficient running of the business and calls for a proactive professional with strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a practical, hands-on mindset.
Key Responsibilities
The
Senior Financial Accountant
will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial strategy, and performance analysis to support senior management decisions.
Ensure accurate month-end, statutory, and compliance reporting, including Revenue, CSO, and REPAK submissions.
Manage working capital, FX exposure, credit control, and implement cost and risk control measures.
Drive system improvements and support team development through effective financial leadership.
Requirements
The successful
Senior Financial Accountant
will be Qualified or Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA with strong technical and analytical skills.
Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts role in an Irish Industry or Practice role
Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with financial reporting tools preferrable
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across finance and operational teams.
A keen interest in the day to day running of the business
Salary & Benefits
Salary range: €70,000 to €80,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications).
