Have you got a construction and maintenance background and looking for a new career? At NHS Highland we have full-time vacancies within our Estates Department for Estate Officers at Raigmore.
The successful candidate needs to be an enthusiastic and motivated individual able to react and think quickly on how to deal with breakdowns within the NHSH estate, manage small scale projects and efficiently arrange for contractors or in house trades teams to carry out maintenance work safely. The post is primarily based at Raigmore Hospital but there may be a requirement to travel to other sites NHSH has responsibility for. The position will require effective management and prioritisation to contribute to the provision of excellent patient care.
What We Are Looking For -
Experience of managing a team and Contractors.
A current UK driving licence is essential.
Applicants must have a recognised qualifications as detailed in the job description.
Experience within a health care environment would be advantageous.
A great team player who is self-motivated.
- A flexible approach to work is essential as variations to the standard working week may be necessary and willing to participate in the 1:6 on-call rota.
