The Opportunity
We are looking for an accomplished Manager to join our Business Technology team as part of our financial services business in Dublin.
The Business Systems Manager reports to the Senior Vice President – Business Technology and is responsible for a team of business systems analysts. The role involves defining the business systems strategy for Maples Funds Services, aligning it with business needs, working with IT resources and external vendors to deliver systems initiatives, and supporting business-specific systems. Success includes improved operational efficiency, enhanced client service, better access to information, and more automated controls.
Its tactical responsibilities support a larger objective – to introduce technological innovation and superior execution, making Business Systems a significant source of competitive advantage for Maples Funds Services.
Responsibilities include:
* Defining a business systems strategy aligned with business needs and goals.
* Managing and prioritizing a portfolio of systems development initiatives.
* Ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery, with clear communication to stakeholders.
* Developing the business systems analyst team, including requirements definition, process re-engineering, testing, configuration, and user support.
* Managing external service providers, contracts, SLAs, and vendor relationships.
* Overseeing system release plans and managing stakeholders and resources during execution.
What You Bring

* Experience as a business systems analyst or similar in a relevant industry.
* Strong IT project management and delivery skills, with a successful track record.
* Excellent people management skills, capable of managing teams, clients, and stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving, risk management, change management, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of system solutions from vendors like SS&C, FIS, and Bloomberg.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial engineering, computer engineering, or management information systems.
