Our success is built on strong relationships, exceptional service, and an ongoing commitment to excellence.As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven and inspiringRegional Sales Manager (RSM)to lead our Ireland sales team and help shape the future of VetPlus in the region.The RoleAsRegional Sales Manager – Ireland, you will play a pivotal leadership role within VetPlus, responsible for delivering (and exceeding) the annual sales plan while motivating and developing a high‑performing team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and a Field Technical Advisor (FTA).You will analyse market conditions, adjust field focus accordingly, build trusted relationships with decision-makers and key accounts, and ensure our sales philosophy is delivered consistently across Ireland. You will also be a key contributor to the VetPlus Management Team, working closely with the European Subsidiaries Manager.This is ahome-based, field-focused role (approximately 70% travel across Ireland)with regular visits to our Head Office.What You'll Be DoingSales Leadership & StrategyWrite, agree and deliver the annual Ireland sales plan.Build strong relationships with decision makers, universities, key influencers and KOLs.Increase market awareness of VetPlus products, services, and strategic focus.Team Development & PerformanceRecruit, coach and mentor ASMs and the Field Technical Advisor.Prepare Job Descriptions and SOPs for field roles.Support the team to deliver the VetPlus sales philosophy.Conduct bi‑annual appraisals and review incentive structures.Chair quarterly National Sales Meetings.Key Account ManagementManage and grow Partnership Programme accounts.Approve quarterly rebate values and oversee planning/review meetings.Build strong personal relationships with the top 25 accounts.Field OperationsProduce a 2‑month forward-planning calendar.Execute quarterly marketing campaigns.Ensure ASMs maintain 2‑week planning schedules.Review all field visit reports and ensure efficient call planning and focus.Data, Insights & ReportingAnalyse CRM sales data and market intelligence.Review ASM and market activity to identify white‑spot opportunities.Submit monthly summaries to the European Subsidiaries Manager.Ensure daily sales reporting discipline within the team.Events & RepresentationHelp manage and attend key congresses and shows.Represent VetPlus with professionalism and technical understanding.Cultural ContributionActively participate in the VetPlus Management Team.Share best practice with colleagues across VetPlus and Tangerine Group.About YouKnowledge & ExperienceProven sales leadership experience (minimum 5 years), ideally in super‑premium pharmaceutical or nutritional products.Strong understanding of concept selling and Key Account Management.Familiarity with "super premium" positioning and VetPlus policies/procedures.Skills & AttributesCustomer-driven with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Creative and flexible problem-solver.Strong IT literacy (especially PowerPoint & Excel).Motivational leader with the ability to build and inspire high‑performing teams.High levels of integrity, professionalism and personal accountability.Personal QualitiesStrong work ethic, attention to detail and urgency.Flexible, reliable and committed to continuous improvement.Able to travel extensively across Ireland and occasionally overseas.Why Join VetPlus?At VetPlus, you'll be part of a supportive, ambitious and people‑focused organisation that values hard work, professionalism and loyalty.
