Job Summary
At WiiGroup, we're shaping the future of project delivery through innovation, collaboration, and intelligent planning.
We are hiring a Planning Engineer (EPCMV) in Tipperary to support the delivery of a large-scale life sciences facility operating under an EPCMV model.
This role will focus on developing and maintaining integrated construction and CQV interface schedules, managing interactions between Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and CQV, and supporting a structured, systemised turnover from Construction into Commissioning.
The position is primarily onsite and will involve close collaboration with the client, construction management team, subcontractors, and CQV stakeholders to ensure schedule alignment, transparency, and predictable delivery throughout all project phases.
Our Ideal Candidate
You are an experienced Planning Engineer with a strong background supporting EPCMV projects within regulated life sciences or advanced manufacturing environments.
You understand construction sequencing, subcontractor dependencies, and the critical interfaces between Construction completion and CQV readiness.
You bring a structured approach to planning—integrating subcontractor schedules, construction workflows, and system-based turnover logic into a coherent, executable programme.
You are comfortable working at the construction front end while maintaining a forward-looking focus on CQV release, system boundaries, and handover milestones.
You take ownership of your scope, proactively managing interfaces, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and supporting the project team with clear, data-driven insights that enable informed decision-making.
Experience Required
5+ years' experience
in project planning and scheduling on EPC, EPCM, or EPCMV projects within life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
Strong experience developing and managing
integrated construction schedules
, including direct and subcontracted scopes.
Proven ability to
integrate subcontractor programmes
into a cohesive master schedule and manage interdependencies across trades.
Solid understanding of
construction workflows
, sequencing logic, and critical path management in regulated environments.
Demonstrated experience managing
interfaces between Construction and CQV
, ensuring schedule alignment through Mechanical Completion and System Turnover.
Knowledge of
systemised turnover methodologies
, including system breakdown structures, work package sequencing, and readiness tracking.
Proficiency in
Primavera P6
(or similar planning tools) for developing, updating, and analysing schedules.
Ability to interpret engineering, construction, and CQV documentation to support accurate schedule development and progress measurement.
Experience supporting or coordinating
EPCMV delivery models
, working closely with client-side construction management teams.
Strong communication skills, with confidence working in multidisciplinary, fast-paced site environments.
Exposure to CQV processes and terminology is highly beneficial.
