Senior Care Manager Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Senior Care Manager. This position requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in our residential home. This includes developing and implementing person-centered care plans, leading and managing a team of staff, and ensuring that the needs of service users are met through professional work practices.
* Develop and implement person-centered care plans that meet the needs and preferences of each individual.
* Lead and manage a team of staff, including supervising, training, and supporting them to provide high-quality care.
* Ensure that the needs of service users are met through professional work practices, including managing medication, wound care, and other health-related issues.
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in care and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Third Level Qualification in Applied Social Studies in Social Care or equivalent.
* At least one year's demonstrable management experience in a similar setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, service users, and external stakeholders.
* A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a willingness to stay up-to-date with best practice in care and support.
