Project Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive engineer to join our client's team at a leading FMCG site in Dungarvan.
This contract role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact capital projects, with a primary focus on a chilled water system upgrade.
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering building services projects from design through to handover, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance at every stage.
Projects will include chilled water, purified water, and electrical systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering building services projects from initiation to completion.
* Ensuring EHS compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
* Leading Constructability Reviews, Design Reviews, and Risk Assessments.
* Identifying issues and implementing effective mitigation plans.
* Providing input into IFT/IFC packages and supporting procurement activities.
* Managing and supervising contractors during construction.
* Contributing to engineering team initiatives as required.
About You
We are looking for a proactive engineer who thrives in a regulated environment and brings both technical expertise and leadership skills.
You will have:
* 7+ years' project engineering/management experience within building services or related fields.
* A degree in Building Services Engineering (or equivalent discipline).
* Proven experience delivering projects in regulated / GMP environments.
* Strong knowledge of cGMP standards and their practical application.
