Treasury Business Analyst at N Consulting LtdAs an experienced Finance Transformation Business Analyst, you will have several years' experience working in Finance and Corporate Treasury Transformation projects.
You will have a proven track record of implementing TMS projects and be able to utilize your experience working in Finance.
You will have strong analytical, problem-solving, requirement management, and elicitation skills.
You will be proactive, show due diligence, be able to work autonomously, but also collaborate effectively with your Project Team and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management and building strong business relationships are critical for this role.
Your core purpose as a Business Analyst at Beazley is to develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end user journeys and processes to accurately elicit, challenge, and document requirements, processes, and scope.
You will be a key member of the Process Improvement & Innovation (PI&I) team, focusing on "building the thing right" while maintaining a balance between value, technical debt, and scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with "building the right thing".
Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and implement the TMS solution with FIS, our implementation partner, and enhance BAU processes and controls;Partner effectively with Treasury and Finance teams to develop and optimize TMS and surrounding BAU processes for functionality, reporting, audit, and control requirements;Elicit, understand, challenge, and translate business value into high-quality requirements and user stories;Ensure traceability of requirements and user stories throughout the product lifecycle;Align requirements, user stories, and test outputs, including supporting User Acceptance Testing;Work closely with Product Owners to ensure user stories are detailed and ready for configuration, owning them from conception to delivery;Assist stakeholders in understanding trade-offs and achieving consensus;Ensure solution designs align with Enterprise Architecture principles and strategic decisions;Proactively monitor and communicate industry, functional, and technology trends, coaching stakeholders on leveraging these to drive business value;Provide clear and regular updates on analytical tasks and progress to key stakeholders;Adopt a data-driven approach in all activities, ensuring data flows are respected as key performance drivers;Build strong relationships with Product Owners and understand their business challenges.Personal Specification: Education and Qualifications: Graduate education/qualifications or equivalent experience (desirable but not essential).Knowledge and Experience: Experience in Business Transformation;Experience in treasury systems, cash operations, and controls within financial services or consultancy environments;Strong knowledge of TMSs, especially FIS Integrity (considered highly desirable);Experience in finance transformation projects, system implementation, and process re-engineering;Understanding of treasury processes, payments, and related systems;Experience with SWIFT services and treasury accounting;Experience working in Agile environments and with global teams;Proficiency in data flow analysis, user story management, and complex business process documentation;Excellent communication skills for varied audiences.Our focus at Beazley IT on "Future Selves" emphasizes competencies like Business Acumen, Adaptability, Stakeholder Partnership, Collaboration, Engineering Mindset, and being Data-Driven.
