Salary – €30K-€40K
About the Company
This leading Irish contractor are currently looking for a junior foreman to assist the Site Manager and Foreman on site. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn how to manage a team of trades, look after H&S on site and procurement of materials etc.
This role would be suitable for a Construction Management graduate with good site exposure or someone coming from a trades background who wants to take a step into professional site management.
The Role
* Report to Project Manager, Site Manager and Foreman.
* Liaise with and manage various subcontractors on a daily basis.
* Manage and drive labour force.
* Ensure H&S and Company Compliance policies are adhered to by all staff members.
* Support the Foreman and Site Manager with procurement of materials.
* Supervise the site in the absence of a foreman or site manager.
Requirements
* Trade Qualification / Construction Qualification. (Preferably Carpentry)
* Strong sense of ownership over projects and excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Site exposure/ placements are essential.
* Willingness to learn and eagerness to progress in professional site management.
