Job Overview
This role encompasses the provision of anaesthesia services to patients at a leading hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Participate in the development and execution of duties pertinent to the Consultant area of expertise.
* Deliver preassessment and perioperative care for high-risk patients.
* Ensure timely delivery of tasks to minimize delays and disruptions.
The successful applicant will be involved in the provision of anaesthesia services to patients as agreed with the Clinical Director.
The primary subspecialty is Obstetric Anaesthesia, encompassing all aspects of inpatient and outpatient anaesthesia services.
A strong clinical partnership exists with another healthcare service, facilitating shared sessional responsibilities and opportunities for growth.
Additional Duties Include:
* Provision of anaesthesia for patients attending surgery or interventions.
* Preoperative assessment, intraoperative care, and postoperative management for surgical patients.
Key responsibilities also include participation in administrative, academic, audit, quality improvement, and educational activities. As an anaesthesiology specialist, you will provide expert care and support to patients undergoing medical procedures.
