Residential Support Worker Opportunities in Tipperary
We are currently recruiting for HealthCare Assistants/Residential Support Workers to join our team in Tipperary Town.
In partnership with our client, we provide a range of services including day and residential care to adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. Our client has over 80 staff members working to support the needs of over service users and their families through day services, training programmes, day activation, supported work/employment, and HIQA-registered residential and respite facilities.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* QQI Level 5 Qualification in Health or Social Care.
* 6 months experience in a similar role working with adults with an intellectual disability.
* A full clean Irish/EU Driving Licence
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
* To contribute to the well-being and development of our service users, treating all individuals with dignity and respect.
* To assist service users in developing their Person Centred Plan and achieving their goals.
* To assist service users to be self-reliant and foster their level of independence.
* To provide direct practical help, support and guidance to individuals in their activities of daily living.
* To develop community networks and encourage natural circles of support, actively searching for opportunities for the person to make personally satisfying contributions through involvement in valued roles in their community.
* To ensure that all accidents/incidents are reported promptly to the line manager.
* To report any concerns you have for the safety and welfare of the service users.
