The current environment involves a significant level of manual processing, and the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring controls and processes operate effectively while we progressively move towards greater automation.This role offers stability, responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute to process improvement over time, rather than a short-term stepping stone role.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministration of employee clocking and time & attendance systemsAccurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payrollHandling payroll-related queries and supporting Revenue complianceProcessing staff travel and subsistence expenses in line with Revenue guidelinesCash and card reconciliationsCentre-level creditors reconciliationsMaintaining accurate financial records and supporting manual controls where requiredTracking and reporting agency usage across servicesLiaising with service managers to resolve finance queriesSupporting process improvement and future automation initiativesAssisting with ad hoc finance tasks as required by the CFOCandidate ProfileThis role will suit someone who is practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on finance environment. It is particularly suited to a candidate seeking a long-term role within a stable and growing organisation, with the opportunity to contribute to improving systems and processes over time.Previous experience in a finance or accounts rolePayroll experience or strong exposure to payroll processingHigh attention to detail and a strong work ethicExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with Xero and/or BrightPay (desirable)IPASS or Accounting Technician qualification (desirable, not essential)Working ArrangementThis role operates on a hybrid basis, with three days per week on-site in Birr and two days remote, following an initial onboarding and training period.IND1
