Job Title: Support Worker
About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to support people in residential and community settings, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care and support in line with individual needs
* Assist with daily living tasks including meals, mobility, and medication support
* Encourage independence, dignity, and community participation
* Maintain accurate records and follow care plans and safeguarding procedures
* Work as part of a team to ensure the highest standard of care
Requirements:
* Prior experience in care/support is desirable
* QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or working towards) is preferred
* Permission to work in Ireland is required
* Flexibility to cover day, night, and weekend shifts is essential
* Garda vetting and references are necessary
* Up-to-date training in Manual Handling, First Aid, and safeguarding is an advantage
