Location: Swords
Hours: 40 Hours per week, flexible shift pattern working alternate weekends
Rate of pay: €15.41 + Team Leader Allowance, €3.44 an hour Sunday premium, subsidised parking, cycle to work scheme
Qualifications: PSA Licence essential
Experience: 1+ Years in a similar environment
Bidvest Noonan is seeking to hire a Security Team Leader for one of our prestigious shopping centre clients located in Swords. This is a position that will suit an organised and energetic individual with excellent leadership skills.
Due to immediate service requirements, this role is open to applicants who hold EU/EEA citizenship with the right to work in Ireland without restriction. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to support visa applications or work permits for this role at this time.
The Role:
* Carry out the duties of Team Leader as required by the operation
* Support the Site Supervisors and Site Manager in the performance management of staff, which will include appraisal, disciplinary, absenteeism monitoring, individual conduct and personal contribution
* Ensure compliance with the Site Specific and Bidvest Noonan operating instructions
* Support the development of Bidvest Noonan Security Officers
* Ensure that all employees are conversant with and comply with the company’s policies in relation to Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
* General security duties
* Any other reasonable Security duties requested
* Carry out all other requirements as stated in the client specific Assignment Instructions
The Person:
* Previous experience in a similar role essential
* Proficient in both written and spoken English communication
* Professional approach to all situations and possess and displays initiative and attention to detail
* Has a friendly manner when dealing with customers and vendors
* Proactive in areas of customer service delivery and ability to maintain positive relationships across the team
* Energetic, innovative and fully understands the customer’s needs. Ensures that all activities and decisions within their role are for the benefit of the customer at all times
* Always behaves in a way which is consistent with our Values – by their actions can demonstrate these values to others. Always maintains confidentiality
* Strive to achieve the best possible results. Delivers continuous improvement and achieves results through effective management
* Demonstrates personal involvement in coaching other members of staff, guiding and giving feedback to others
