Job Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Services Manager to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations across the bar, breakfast, and grab-and-go areas.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations across multiple food and beverage outlets.
* Lead and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism.
* Ensure all food and beverages meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
* Manage stock levels, ordering, and waste control to optimize efficiency.
* Support the implementation of new systems and procedures during pre-opening phases.
* Handle customer feedback and complaints with confidence and empathy.
* Collaborate with the kitchen and front office teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Health and Safety Obligations:
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
* Conduct regular checks and maintain accurate records of cleaning, temperature logs, and allergen controls.
* Train staff on safe food handling practices and emergency procedures.
Customer Service Focus:
* Deliver warm and personalized service that exceeds customer expectations.
* Anticipate customer needs and tailor the experience accordingly.
* Resolve complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Standards and Compliance:
* Review and maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all F&B areas.
* Ensure all staff are trained on current SOPs and updates are rolled out effectively.
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service flow, and customer satisfaction.
Brand Standards and Flexibility:
* Uphold the highest brand standards in every aspect of F&B delivery.
* Be flexible and adaptable, supporting other departments when needed.
* Educated guest preferences through sensitivity and interest.
Communication:
* Maintain clear and timely communication with the kitchen, front office, and management teams.
* Lead daily briefings and ensure all staff are aligned on goals, specials, and service standards.
* Document and escalate any incidents or feedback as necessary.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a supervisory F&B role, preferably in a luxury or boutique hotel setting.
* A passion for hospitality and a love for creating memorable guest experiences.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* A self-sufficient mindset - confident in decision-making and leading the team.
* Familiarity with POS systems and basic stock control processes.
