Key Requirements:Active registration on the Specialist Register in Occupational Medicine with the Irish Medical Council Main Duties & Responsibilities: Providehighquality,on-siteclinicalmedicalservicesandimprovesafetyintheworkplace. Evaluate,diagnoseandtreatwork-relatedillnessesandinjuries,aswellasprovideemergency medical care. Performstatutoryandperiodicmedicalexaminations. Provideaconsultationserviceattherequestofmanagementoremployeesforworkrelated health problems. Adviceonmethodsofpromotingrehabilitationofstaff backtoworkandredeploymentwhere necessary. Provideclinicalcareandcounselingwithanemphasisonriskfactor,healthassessmentand disease prevention. Order,performandinterprettests,andanalyserecords,reportsandexaminationinformationto diagnose patients' condition. Monitorthepatients'conditionsandprogressandre-evaluatetreatmentsasnecessary. ParticipateinCHIAuditsforClinicalStandardssuchasSEQOHS MaintainProfessionalcontinuedpersonaldevelopmentaswellasparticipateinCHIPersonal Performance Programme MaintainretentionofProfessionalregistrationandprovideCHIwithcopyofcertificateannually MaintainprofessionalIndemnityandprovideevidencetoCHIannually ComplywithCHIpoliciesandProcedure Job Requirements, Skills and attributes: Abilitytoworkeffectively/autonomouslywithminimumsupervision.
