The Role:
We are looking for an experienced
IT Manager
to lead our technology function and support the continued growth of our business. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for managing IT infrastructure, telecoms, training, and business-critical systems including SAP, Citrix, Job Management, and CRM platforms.
The successful candidate will bring proven experience in leading IT teams, delivering complex system integrations, and implementing secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. A strong understanding of ISO 27001 compliance is essential, alongside expertise in cloud-based technologies, mobile device integration, and VOIP/telecoms systems. Location:
Monaghan (with occasional travel required to our Omagh site).
Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and support the IT team to deliver high-quality technical services across the business.
* Oversee the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of IT infrastructure including hardware, software, networks, and cloud systems.
* Lead IT projects from design to implementation, including upgrades, migrations, and new system rollouts.
* Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards, maintaining security policies, risk assessments, and documentation.
* Lead cross-functional teams through full ERP lifecycle projects, including requirements gathering, system design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
* Manage IT budgets, procurement, and supplier relationships to achieve cost-effective solutions.
* Develop and deliver staff training on cybersecurity and IT best practices.
* Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
* Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
* Provide hands-on support when required and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
* Collaborate with senior management to align IT strategy with business objectives.
About you:
* Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar leadership role.
* Educated up to Degree level
* Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or M365 certifications
* 5 years' experience in a lead role; Managing IT Training, Infrastructure, Telecoms, Cybersecurity, M365 applications and services
* Experience implementing & maintaining Job Management and CRM systems.
* Knowledge of operating cloud-based technologies.
* Telecoms & VOIP experience, perhaps gained in a Contact Centre environment (Desirable)
* SAP Integration experience.
* Mobile / handheld device integration with CRM and other platforms / systems.
* In-depth understanding of ISO 27001 and experience managing compliance frameworks.
* Full UK Drivers Licence
