Infrastructure Manager Role
The Infrastructure Manager is part of a regional team overseeing management and maintenance of waterways infrastructure. This involves managing depots, engaging with procurement teams, and managing financial and operational resources.
The role requires coordinating with consultants and contractors on projects, facilitating events with user groups, and developing waterways for increased recreational use. As part of the response team, the successful applicant will provide out-of-hours service on a rota basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Regional Depots at Portora and Drumboory.
* Engage with Operations Stores to support procurement and purchasing of goods and services.
* Manage resources including financial, operational staff, and waterway assets.
* Coordinate with user groups for facilitation of events.
Requirements
* Possess a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
* Possess a minimum of 5 years relevant post-qualification experience in the design or construction of civil/structural engineering projects.
* Hold a current driving licence and possess access to a form of transport.
* Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
* Be computer literate and possess competence in the use of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and IT based surveying equipment/engineering design tools.
