The Director of Workforce Management plays a pivotal role in the organization, overseeing and optimizing the allocation, utilization, and development of human resources. This strategic leadership position involves collaborating with various departments to align workforce planning with business objectives, ensuring efficient staffing levels, implementing workforce analytics, and enhancing employee engagement and productivity.

Responsibilities include developing and executing workforce strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives, analyzing current and future workforce needs based on business forecasts, market trends, and operational requirements. The Director will also identify talent gaps and implement plans to address them through recruitment, training, retention, or restructuring.

Additionally, this role requires establishing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure workforce effectiveness and efficiency, utilizing workforce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Regular reports and dashboards will be generated to communicate workforce insights to senior management.

The Director will develop staffing models and optimize resource allocation to meet workload demands while controlling costs, collaborate with department managers to manage staffing levels, scheduling, and workload distribution. Performance management is also a crucial aspect of this role, including assisting in the establishment of goals and objectives for workforce productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in workforce management, strategic planning, or related roles. In-depth knowledge of workforce planning methodologies, labour market trends, and analytics is essential, as well as strong analytical skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
