Cycle Right Instructor
Location: Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare and Meath (mostly Dublin)
Position Type: Permanent
Hours: 25 - 30 hours per week based on the school calendar, with potential for additional ad-hoc hours
Pay: €20.00 - €25.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: 8 September 2025 (following successful completion of the 4-week Cycle Right training course – which will take place in July. Applicants must be available for the entire course.)

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Cycle Right Instructor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with children and young people in teaching, PE, sports coaching, or community roles.
Please note: The successful candidate must be available to complete the Cycle Right Trainer course, which will take place in July. Applicants must be available for the entire course.
Key Responsibilities
·Deliver Cycle Right and other cycling programmes in schools and community settings.
·Provide private cycling lessons to individuals of all ages and abilities.
·Support cycling and multi-activity camps during school holidays.
·Plan and deliver engaging cycling sessions tailored to various age groups.
·Promote cycling safety and active living in schools and communities.
Requirements
·Minimum 2 years' experience in sports coaching or working with children.
·Passion for cycling, outdoor activities, and engaging with young people.
·No prior cycling instructor experience needed – full training will be provided.
·Successful Garda vetting and safeguarding training (supported by Active Ireland).
·Availability to complete the Cycle Right training course.
·Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
·Strong communication and organisational skills.
·Flexibility to work during school hours, evenings, and holidays.
