* Technical support and informed decision making on electrical and control system hardware and architecture selection within a multidisciplinary team environment is key.
* Fault-finding of complex automation equipment and control systems when required demands expert knowledge and skills.
* Maintaining comprehensive documentation to medical device standards is essential.
* Inspecting new and existing vendor electrical equipment for compliance with company electrical requirements is vital.
* Carrying out electrical commissioning assessments and signing off new/modified installations ensures quality and safety.
* Managing introduction of new site electrical requirements documents for vendors and internal procedures and checks improves efficiency and productivity.
* Updating site electrical standards to reflect current international standards and new types of equipment enhances innovation and progress.
* Monitoring and continually improving the site electrical power up plan addresses associated queries and concerns.
* Maintaining electrical drawing software network licensing systems and repository supports collaboration and communication.
* Guiding advising and overseeing the site wide electrical engineering function ensures high quality service delivery.
