Eligibility
Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
How to apply
To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre. Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
* Work alongside staff supporting them in all aspects of the programme.
* Lead a team in the design and preparation of craft products, wooden goods and the maintenance of a "community garden enterprise".
* Lead and support the team in identifying ongoing daily horticultural and woodcraft activities.
* Fill out relevant forms, daily work tasks, progress sheets and training forms as required.
* Assist in the coordination of agreed/approved work schedules for participants.
* Communicate effectively with all participants on the project.
* Participate fully in all training provided by The Red Door Project.
