Safety Systems Co-OrdinatorJob Description & Qualification RequirementsReport to: BRISTOW IRELAND SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE MANAGERAn important role in maintaining and continuously improving Bristow Ireland's aviation Safety and Regulatory compliance, supporting the Safety & Compliance Manager and driving forwards operational excellence.The Safety Systems Co-Ordinator should be highly productive, highly motivated, have the ability to proactively multi-task and to use their own initiative, conscious of Bristow Ireland procedure and industry practice. Providing essential support to the safety manager and the wider team to ensure a high safety standard is maintained.Areas of responsibilitieswill include but may not be limited to the following:Monitor the occurrence reporting system, investigate and summarise reports, ensure timely submission of Mandatory Occurrence Reports (MORs), and compile trend data for internal and external stakeholders.Create and publish safety-related communications (Newsletters, Flashes, Lessons Learned, Safety Reports, SPIs) and ensure effective dissemination across the organisation and into the Authority.Assist in preparing Safety Action Group and Safety Review Board packs, proactively take minutes, assign actions, and follow up on completion.Support management in reviewing Safety Actions, Risk Assessments, and Management of Change (MoC) events.Support the conduct of safety investigations and make recommendations to departmental managers.Proactively gather and update safety performance indicators for the Safety Management System and Fatigue Risk Management System.Contribute to the preparation of risk assessments and safety performance reviews.Assist in developing new functionality within the Safety Information System (SIS).Carry out data analysis, trending, and visualisation to support evidence-based decision making.Maintain effective liaison with aircraft manufacturers' safety departments, regulators, and other external stakeholders as required.Assist with preparation and participation in internal and external audits.Actively promote a positive safety culture through projects, research, safety promotion initiatives, and regular updates to base safety noticeboards.Technical RequirementsPrevious experience working in an aviation Safety & Compliance environmentFamiliar with ICAOs Four Pillars of SafetyAble to intelligently extract data and present graphicallyAbility to interface with internal and external customers at all levelsExcellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to achieve deadlines consistentlyGood verbal and written Communication SkillsExcellent IT skills with the ability to input and output data quickly and efficientlyQualificationsDesirableRecognised academic qualification in a relevant disciplineTraining in aviation Safety Management SystemsTraining in EASA Aviation Regulations & Human FactorsSafety investigation trainingAttributesDemonstrateSound communicatorTeamwork orientatedPersuasiveAnalyticalReasonedProactiveSafety consciousSelf-motivatingWillingness to learn and developSupport company objectives
