This role sits at the intersection of marketing and technology, powering data accuracy, reliable tracking, and performance optimization across all digital touchpoints. You'll manage websites, mobile applications, tracking systems, and automations to ensure seamless customer experiences and accurate data across our five key markets.
As the Marketing Technology & Analytics Specialist, you'll ensure Thompson Creek's MarTech stack delivers the insights needed for smarter decisions, stronger campaigns, and elevated customer journeys. This role is perfect for someone who loves solving technical problems, optimizing performance, and making data work harder.
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain marketing technology systems, including websites, mobile applications, and analytics platforms.
* Implement and troubleshoot tracking and automation tools to ensure data accuracy and continuity.
* Partner with Marketing and IT teams to integrate and optimize the MarTech stack.
* Analyze digital marketing performance and deliver actionable insights for campaign optimization.
* Identify opportunities to improve customer journey tracking, lead flow, and attribution models.
* Maintain documentation of tracking systems, tagging structures, and reporting dashboards.
* Stay current on emerging marketing technology trends, tools, and best practices.
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience working with marketing technology platforms, web analytics, or digital campaign tracking.
* Strong proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, CRM platforms, and marketing automation systems.
* Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, or other web technologies a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly.
* Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into business recommendations.
* Compensation: $20–30 USD per hour
* Engagement: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, Independent Contractor
* Schedule: Must be available to work U.S. EST hours (typically 8 am–5 pm)
* Location: Remote
