Role Overview
We seek a dynamic Human Resources Leader to join our HR team at our manufacturing facility.
This role requires a strong leader who can balance day-to-day HR management with forward-looking projects that enhance employee engagement, organisational effectiveness, and compliance.
The successful candidate will lead the HR function at our site, working closely with global HR teams and site leadership to deliver strategic and operational HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage HR functions, providing strategic and operational HR leadership for the facility.
* Build strong relationships with business leaders and managers, collaborating with them to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, provide tailored HR solutions and support.
* Coach managers and leaders to manage & develop their teams and handle HR issues efficiently, appropriately and effectively.
* Partner with leaders and managers to ensure effective Performance Management/Probation processes are followed through effective goal setting for each department and individual based on strategic business goals.
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure the timely resolution of open actions and the effective administration of the EHS Management System.
* Ensure consistent and equitable application of HR policies by providing guidance and oversight to people managers.
* Oversee payroll and benefits administration for the facility and other EU jurisdictions as assigned, in conjunction with the HR team.
* Lead the compensation/merit review process for the facility in partnership with the Leadership Team.
* Work closely with leaders and managers to align HR strategies and initiatives with the organisation's overall business objectives and goals.
* Facilitate programs that enhance employee engagement and well-being.
* Oversee effective and efficient resolution of all employee relations matters.
* Keep up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to direct the creation, interpretation, and application of HR policies throughout the facility.
* Ongoing review of current HR Processes to continually improve, streamline and align globally where possible.
* Manage ongoing evaluations of benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and effectiveness.
* Utilise HR analytics and metrics to develop HR initiatives that address gaps and capitalise on opportunities.
Qualifications
* BSc in Human Resources or a relevant discipline.
* 3+ years' experience within a HR Strategic/Leadership role, ideally within a multinational progressive organisation.
* Experience in HR business partnering with ownership for a business area.
* A thorough knowledge of Employment Law, practices and their application.
* Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders.
* Strong team player with the ability to engage and influence.
* Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
* Strong IT proficiency and administrative skills.
Physical Demands
* Occasional work may be done in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment.
* Powder free gloves, face masks, hairnets, gowns, and shoe covers must be worn.
* As a result, the successful candidate must be a nonsmoker.
