This is a rare greenfield opportunity where you will set the foundation for how ML is built, operationalised, and scaled across the entire product.With €20M+ in funding and strong ambitions to become a global category leader, the company is building a product-led ML capability from the ground up. You will work closely with founders and a lean engineering team, shaping not only models, but also the broader ML strategy, architecture, and roadmap.This is a leadership role with strong technical depth: you will still be hands‑on in modelling and production systems while also setting direction, defining best practices, and mentoring future hires as the ML function grows.You will collaborate closely with another Data Scientist initially, with full ownership of the ML stack and clear progression into a broader ML leadership role as the team scales.Your MissionOwn and scale the end-to-end ML lifecycle: data, modelling, deployment, monitoring, and iterationDesign and productionise ML models that power user behaviour insights and real-time product decisionsDefine and lead the ML architecture, tooling, and MLOps standards from the ground upBuild experimentation frameworks, model governance, and deployment best practicesAct as the technical owner of the ML roadmap and influence product directionWhat You’ll Bring8+ years’ experience in Data Science / Machine LearningProven ability to lead or own ML systems in production environmentsStrong Python skills with hands‑on model deployment experienceDeep understanding of MLOpsExperience with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing,)Background in fast-paced, product‑led or startup environmentsStrong leadership mindset with ability to operate autonomously in ambiguitySalary & BenefitsCompetitive Base Salary DOE + Pension Contribution + Health Insurance + Stock Options
