Design Build Search are working with a leading civil contractor who continue to expand nationwide.
Due to growth plans they have an opportunity for a Design Engineer in their Limerick office.
The successful applicant will join an experienced technical and engineering team working on key projects nationwide.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the requirements associated with the design and delivery of infrastructure projects and will be expected to bring an innovative approach.
Minimum qualifications
Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or related field
3+ years design experience with consultancy or contractor
Ability to work collaboratively with relevant stakeholder developing design solutions.
Proven experience working with AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
Ambitious and willing to learn
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop design documents and details.
Ensure designs prioritise safety, the environment, constructability, and commercial efficiency.
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Undertake site visits and technical assessments to inform and validate design work.
Identify opportunities for sustainability and innovation in design solutions.
Keep appraised of the latest standards and technology through continuous professional development.
