Woodlands Creche is Hiring: Inclusion Coordinator (Full Time)
Woodlands Creche, a non-profit Equal Start Service located in Dublin 10, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Inclusion Coordinator to join our team. This funded position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and enhance our inclusive practices, supporting children of all abilities to thrive in a nurturing and supportive environment.

As a community-based service, we cater to children from diverse backgrounds and needs, offering specialised programs to promote their participation and development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Coordination: Lead and support staff, including AIM support practitioners, in delivering high-quality inclusive practices aligned with our Inclusion Plan.
2. Communication Programs: Oversee the implementation of Lámh and other communication supports, and facilitate Talk Boost and Meitheal frameworks, to enhance children’s communication skills.
3. Individual Support Plans: Develop and implement individual support plans for children, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
4. Family and Professional Collaboration: Work closely with families and liaise with professionals to create comprehensive care plans and facilitate transitions to primary school.
5. Funding and Assessments: Apply for necessary assessments and funding (e.g., AIM) on behalf of children to secure resources that promote their inclusion and development.
6. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports on progress, funding applications, and care plans.
7. Training and Development: Must be committed to ongoing professional training to stay updated on best practices and lead staff development initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
• Minimum Level 7 qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field, approved under the Early Years (Pre-school) Regulations.
• At least one year of experience working with children in an early years setting.
• Strong understanding of AIM, Meitheal, and inclusive practices.
• Proficiency in computer skills for record-keeping, reporting, and data management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and engage effectively with families.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment and ongoing professional development.
