Chef / Cook – Tex-Mex Street Food & Markets (Driving Required)
We're a growing Tex-Mex burrito business operating a 7-day food truck in Macroom and weekly markets across Cork.
We're looking for a skilled, career-driven chef who can cook to a high standard and drive our van to markets/food truck when needed.
Role Responsibilities:
Prep, cook, and execute our Tex-Mex menu consistently
Serve customers
Maintain speed, quality, and food safety
Manage prep levels and stock
Set up/pack down food truck or market stall
Drive the van to markets or the food truck (required)
Support menu development and improve systems
Requirements:
Strong cooking background (restaurant, catering, food truck, etc.)
Reliable, organised, and comfortable with busy service
Full EU/UK driving licence
23+ years old (insurance requirement)
Able to work mornings + weekends
Leadership experience a strong advantage
Hours & Pay:
Full-time
Daytime-focused schedule
Additional hours during festivals, caterings and summer
Higher rate for experienced chefs / those able to lead
