They've built a collaborative and supportive culture where engineers are trusted to take ownership of their work, contribute to design decisions and play an active role in project outcomes.Thanks to a steady pipeline of work and continued investment in their people, this is a great opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer who's looking to take the lead on design packages while supporting and mentoring more junior team members.About Your New RoleAs Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll work across a mix of residential and commercial developments, taking responsibility for the delivery of electrical building services design from early concept right through to handover.You'll lead various stages of the design process, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical input across a range of live projects. Your day-to-day will involve:Leading the design of LV power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, containment and general electrical building services systemsProducing technical calculations, reports, drawings and specificationsWorking closely with mechanical, architectural and structural teams to ensure services are fully integrated into the overall designManaging design deliverables across project stages and ensuring client requirements are metReviewing drawings, submittals and technical queries during constructionSupporting site inspections, commissioning reviews and client meetings where requiredMentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidanceContributing to QA processes, sustainability targets and general design best practiceRepresenting the electrical discipline in design team and client meetingsWhat You'll Need to SucceedDegree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering6+ years' experience in electrical building services designStrong understanding of LV systems, lighting design, earthing/bonding, life safety systems and energy-efficient solutionsExperience working on residential or commercial building projectsFamiliarity with industry software such as Dialux/Relux, AutoCAD, Revit or AmtechWorking knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, ET101 and relevant IS standardsAbility to work collaboratively across disciplines and communicate effectively with design teams and clientsExperience managing deadlines and coordinating project deliverablesChartered status, or working towards it, would be an advantageWhat You'll Get in ReturnCompetitive salary package (typically €75,000–€90,000 DOE)25 days annual leaveAnnual performance-related bonusRelocation support, where applicableHybrid working optionsOpportunity to work as part of a global consultancy on a wide range of projectsClear progression pathways and support toward chartershipOngoing professional development within a collaborative team environment
