Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Microbiology Manager to lead our onsite microbiology team. This is a full-time position responsible for managing and controlling the microbial testing of pharmaceutical products for release.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline and 8+ years managerial/supervisory experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within a microbiology department. Strong leadership skills, project management, resource planning, and budgeting experience are essential. Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and databases, is also required.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the onsite microbiology team and ensure highest quality standards are maintained.
* Manage and control the microbial testing of pharmaceutical products for release.
* Develop and train team members.
* Project manage, plan resources, and budget for the microbiology department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline (preferably Microbiology/Pharmaceutical Sciences) and 8+ years managerial/supervisory experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within a microbiology department. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, be proficient in computer skills, and have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Others
Working knowledge of isolator technology and environmental monitoring of a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is desired.
