You will be joining the Evisort AI team, which functions as a startup within Workday, giving you the opportunity to build at the pace of innovation while backed by the enormous support and impacting Workday's incredible customer base of 70 M+ users.
About the Role
Evisort Engineering is expanding and we are looking for a Software Development Engineer (Full Stack).
You will work with a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled engineers, in close collaboration with Product and Design partners, with the goal of maintaining and expanding our best‑in‑class contract management offerings.
Your technical expertise and ability to collaborate will be crucial in realizing our ambitious vision to deliver best‑in‑class AI at scale, transforming how major companies optimize and streamline key business processes related to negotiating and managing contracts worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Partner closely with engineering, data science, product management, and design teams to build on the vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Participate in a collaborative team culture that encourages iteration and innovation, and a deep understanding of both our business domain and engineering practices to steer engineering decisions.
Have a major impact on the professional growth and productivity levels of teammates through design and code reviews, technical guidance, and mentoring.
Own several functional areas of our platform ("you build it, you run it").
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of experience in software engineering.
Highly proficient in Python and a Python web framework (Fast API, Flask, or Django).
Highly proficient in Postgre SQL with a strong understanding of performance optimization and scaling strategies.
Experienced in building and operating Saa S products in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Advanced knowledge of modern software development practices (devops, automated testing, observability, etc.).
Proficient in the use of Elasticsearch.
Proficient in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Other Qualifications
Experienced in the technologies and tradeoffs involved in building modern distributed systems.
Familiarity with multiple programming languages such as Java (backend) and Typescript (frontend or full stack) is a plus.
Familiarity with non‑relational databases such as Dynamo DB and Redis is a plus.
Proven success working in cross‑functional, agile teams in fast‑paced environments.
Highly effective communicator with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal professionals.
Eager to work openly and collaboratively with a diverse team.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity to turn hard problems into clear and compelling solutions through reasoning and research.
