About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Design/Drainage Engineer to support a variety of civil engineering projects. This role requires expertise in drainage design, infrastructure planning, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project teams to develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions that meet client and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and implementation of drainage systems for civil infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and industry regulations.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and project documentation.
• Utilise industry-standard software, including AutoCAD and 3D design tools, to develop project designs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide expert engineering input.
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering (Level 8 or equivalent qualification).
• At least five years’ experience in civil and drainage projects.
• Expertise in drainage system design and a strong understanding of engineering regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D/PDS is an advantage.
• Chartered or near-chartered status is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid work authorisation to work in Ireland.
