Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for supporting the office manager with day-to-day accounting tasks while assisting with general office administration.
You will work closely with software such as Sage 50, Bright Pay and Thesaurus to process invoices, payments and reconcile accounts. You will also assist with payroll administration via Bright Pay and Thesaurus Software. Additionally, you will support the preparation of financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and manage accounts payable and receivable.
* Assist with payroll administration, including running payslips and managing employee data.
* Support the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
* Assist with month-end and year-end procedures, including budgeting and forecasting.
* Provide administrative support, including answering calls and directing inquiries.
* Liaise with clients and suppliers to resolve any issues effectively.
Requirements:
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
* Basic accounting knowledge, including familiarity with invoicing, accounts payable/receivable and payroll processes.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Fluency in English.
