This role enables individuals to empower service users in living independent lives and fostering community partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Empower Service Users to live independently by promoting personal autonomy and choice.
* Collaborate with service users to develop person-centred plans that address their unique needs and goals.
* Establish and maintain strong community partnerships to promote active citizenship and community engagement.
* Provide transportation services to facilitate access to community resources and opportunities.
* Perform Key Worker duties, including administrative tasks, advocacy, and liaison with families and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
* A relevant QQI qualification (minimum Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent)
* Experience working with service users in the disability sector, with a focus on supporting independence and autonomy.
* Age 18 or older
* A full clean manual driving license with access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
* An excellent command of spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
* Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a relevant sector, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality support services.
