The role:
We are looking for our first Marketing Executive — a hands-on, strategic marketer who can roll up their sleeves to deliver campaigns and manage projects end-to-end. You will be responsible for building our marketing engine from the ground up: planning initiatives, deploying and allocating budgets, coordinating agencies and freelancers, and ensuring every activity lands with impact. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of project management and execution. You'll design and run multi-channel campaigns, manage resources, and act as the central point of coordination for Apata's growing brand presence in the global fintech ecosystem.
What You'll Do
* Lead Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Design and execute ABM programs that deepen engagement with high-value enterprise accounts.
* Run multi-channel campaigns: Plan, manage, and deliver coordinated activity across LinkedIn, press/PR, podcasts, custom events, industry conferences, and other relevant channels.
* Own LinkedIn marketing: Take responsibility for both paid and organic activity, building authority, visibility, and engagement directly.
* Reinforce brand message: Ensure consistent, compelling positioning across all external touchpoints. Support sales: Generate inbound leads and create brand lift that makes outbound efforts easier and more effective for the sales team.
* Manage budgets + partners.
* Project manage end-to-end delivery: Scope, allocate resources, set timelines, and ensure every initiative lands with measurable impact.
* Measure and report: Track, analyze, and present campaign performance and ROI, using insights to refine and scale what works.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in enterprise B2B marketing, ideally in a scale-up or agency environment. Background in fintech or financial services strongly preferred.
* Demonstrated success executing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and multi-channel campaigns that delivered measurable results.
* Hands-on expertise with LinkedIn marketing (organic + paid), with a track record of growing authority and engagement.
* Experience coordinating press/PR, event marketing, and thought-leadership campaigns.
* Strong project management skills — able to scope, budget, and deliver initiatives end-to-end while balancing multiple priorities.
* Highly execution-focused: you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and making things happen.
* Able to work independently as the first marketing hire, while knowing how to leverage agencies and contractors to scale impact.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex fintech concepts into compelling and accessible stories.
