Duty Manager Job in a 4-Star Hotel
We are recruiting an experienced Duty Manager for our client's newly opened 4-star hotel. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-renowned brand and play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations when senior management is not on site.
* Act as the main point of contact for all hotel operations during assigned shifts.
* Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure all departments run smoothly.
* Coordinate and support teams across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Maintenance.
* Lead and supervise Front Office and Guest Service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
* Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally.
* Monitor arrivals, departures, and VIP guests for seamless service.
* Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health & safety, and brand standards.
* Respond to emergencies and make critical decisions when required.
* Prepare shift reports and communicate effectively with senior management.
* Support training and development of team members.
Requirements for Duty Manager Role
* Previous experience as Duty Manager in a 4-star or similar hotel is essential.
* Strong knowledge of Front Office operations and guest service standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
* Familiarity with hotel systems (Property Management System, Point of Sale) and Microsoft Office.
* Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
