Description
PAM Ireland Ltd is currently recruiting for candidates to join their 2026 Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Apprenticeship in conjunction with the College of Further Education and Training Campus and Technology University Dublin (TUD)/ South East Technological University (SETU) Carlow starting in September 2026.
This is a structured 4-year program including both hands on and classroom-based learning in conjunction with College of FET and TUD/ SETU. You will need to commit to 4 years of studying hard for your B1/B2 modules which are intense and do take dedication. Upon successful completion of this program you will be in a position to continue on to get more experience and work towards applying for your Category B License.
Based in Shannon, you will be working with highly experienced aircraft engineers in one of our biggest engineering hangars responsible for providing engineering maintenance to our 600+ Boeing aircraft. You will also gain experience in airframe and avionics and in pre-into service checks completed on our new aircraft deliveries from Boeing as we continue to grow our fleet to over 800+ aircraft in the next 10 years. This is an excellent opportunity for successful candidates to work in an exciting, vibrant industry and obtain a recognised qualification in aircraft maintenance.
As part of the initial training, you may be required to spend some time in Shannon, Stansted or Bergamo for classroom-based learning and hands on experience while doing your studies in TU Dublin/ SETU Carlow.

* If successful, at online assessment an in-person interview will be planned for April-June 2026
* Successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment colour blindness test, intoxicant screening test and induction.
Requirements
* Ability to pass a full security background check.
* Eligibility to live and work in Ireland and travel without restriction.
* Applicants need to be 18 years of age by September 1st 2026.
* Have successfully completed the Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
