We are a small, independent business with a strong focus on personal service, beautiful interiors, and customer relationships.We are currently seeking a driven and enthusiastic Interior Sales Associate to work alongside the owner. This role is ideal for someone who has studied interior design, worked in interiors, or simply has a strong love and eye for design, combined with a passion for sales and customer service.Role OverviewThis is a varied, hands-on role combining retail sales, interior styling, and customer care. The successful candidate will assist customers on the shop floor, help put together interior schemes, prepare quotes, support freelance interior design projects, and help manage online and in-store operations.As a small business, this role suits someone who is self-motivated, organised, and enjoys taking ownership while working closely as part of a small team.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer ExperienceWelcome customers and provide a warm, personalised shopping experienceAdvise customers on furniture, home décor, and interior accessoriesAssist with creating interior schemes and styling ideas for customersPrepare and follow up on customer quotationsDrive sales in-store and support online salesBuild strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat businessInterior Design SupportAssist with freelance interior design enquiries and projectsHelp customers visualise products within their spaceMaintain the design flow and aesthetic of the storeStore & OperationsMaintain the shop floor through cleaning, merchandising, and stock organisationReceive and process weekly deliveries and new stockEnter new products into the system, including pricing and taggingProcess transactions using the POS systemTrack and process online orders from the websiteEnsure the store is presented to a high standard at all timesAdministration & DigitalUse computer systems for orders, emails, stock, and quotesAssist with basic social media content and engagementSupport promotion of the store and online businessSkills & Experience Essential:Strong interest and passion for interior design and homewaresRetail sales experience or a natural ability to sell and engage customersExcellent customer service and communication skills (verbal & written)Strong organisational and time-management skillsConfident using computers (POS systems, email, basic software)Ability to work independently and take initiativeReliable, punctual, and professionalDesirable (but not essential):Interior design education or experienceExperience working in a homewares, furniture, or interiors storeFamiliarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook)Personal Qualities We're Looking ForSales-driven with a creative eyeFriendly, approachable, and confident with customersHighly organised and detail-orientedProblem-solver with a positive attitudeComfortable working in a small business environmentWorking Hours & ScheduleDay shift / split shiftMonday to Friday and weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)Work location: ArdeeBenefitsEmployee discountCasual dress codeWeekly payOpportunity to grow with a small independent businessJob Type: Part-timePay: €14.50-€16.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountFlexitimeWork Location: In person
