Position Summary Key SME for the Alexion artwork management system, including day-to-day management, metric reporting, and user training.
Maintains approved packaging artworks and designs (outer cartons, labels, and leaflets) and owns the implementation of changes, including obtaining final approvals from Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance.
Maintains oversight of all printed packaging changes for Alexion and ensures implementation deadlines are consistently met.
Responsible for maintaining finished product and material specifications.
Acts as the Global Supply Chain Artwork representative for new product launches.
Maintains strong working relationships with contract packaging firms and internal partners to ensure product launches and required changes are implemented on time, and all distributed products comply with filed dossiers.
Supports the implementation of artwork-related projects to enhance productivity and service quality within the Global Supply Chain.
Manages artwork process relationships with global, regional, and local regulatory affairs functions.
Serves as SME and process owner for Alexion's printed packaging security features.
Identifies continuous improvement opportunities using structured problem-solving methodologies.

Maintain specifications for finished products and materials.Represent the Global Supply Chain in new product launches related to artwork.Build and sustain strong relationships with contract packagers and internal teams to ensure timely implementation and compliance with regulatory dossiers.Support and lead artwork-related projects to improve productivity and service.Manage artwork process relationships with regulatory functions at various levels.Act as SME for Alexion's printed packaging security features.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving.Essential Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and improving artwork management processes and systems.Solid understanding of pharmaceutical artwork processes and systems, with experience in a pharmaceutical packaging environment.
Experience with medical device packaging is a plus.Proven success in managing pharmaceutical artwork compliant with regulatory standards.Strong knowledge of current pharmaceutical packaging regulations and applications.Experience managing artwork across multiple regions.Thorough understanding of cGMPs.Excellent computer skills, with experience in Artwork Management Systems; SAP experience is highly desirable.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for global and cross-level interactions.Preferred Qualifications Relevant third-level supply chain qualification.Experience with GLAMs and Gazelle software.AstraZeneca values diversity and inclusion.
