We are seeking an experienced and reliable Digger Operator to join our team on a construction project commencing on 5th January. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of excavators and will play an important role in supporting site management and groundworks operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Safe and efficient operation of 360° excavators in accordance with site requirements
* Carrying out excavation works for foundations, drainage, services, and general groundworks
* Working closely with site management, engineers, and groundworks crews
* Ensuring all works are completed in line with drawings, levels, and specifications
* Conducting daily machine checks and maintaining plant in good working order
* Adhering strictly to all Health & Safety regulations and site procedures
* Supporting general site activities as required
Requirements
* Valid Excavator / 360° Digger certification
* Proven experience operating excavators on residential or commercial construction sites
* Strong understanding of safe digging practices and underground services
* High level of reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail
