Apleona Ireland is looking for a Technical Manager to join the team in the Dublin 15 area.
Working pattern: Monday to Thursday from 08:00‑16:30 and Friday 08:00‑15:30.
Main duties and responsibilities
Oversee all hard FM services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems, lifts, and building fabric.
Manage planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance programs.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements.
Supervise and coordinate contractors, vendors, and in‑house engineering teams.
Manage service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Develop and manage maintenance budgets and control costs.
Lead incident response for critical system failures or emergencies.
Maintain asset registers, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
Support sustainability initiatives, energy management, and efficiency improvements.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience working in a regulated facilities environment.
Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and project management software.
Suitable experience in health and safety, and environmental issues.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Good understanding of H&S and HR.
